The Badlands (The Dig Site) | The dig site was where Grant and Sattler worked to find the bones of dinosaurs long gone. This was also where Hammond came to recruit Grant and Sattler to come to his island for a test run to see the live dinosaurs. It was in Snakewater, Montana and was out in the middle of nowhere. It was a hot desert where it was still 85 degrees even in the air conditioned trailer. "There was not a tree, or a bush. Nothing but barren rock, hot sun, and whining wind." Hammond only funded the digging sites in the north because they were the only areas where DInosaur DNA could survive in the climate. |
Jurassic Park | Jurrassic park is where the mishaps of Hammond's ideas take place. The actual island is made to look like a Jurrassic landscape from the past. which includes plants and actual dinosaurs. This park has a forest, river, and individual pens for all of the dinosaur breeds. This was where most of the book and movie take place. It is also where most of the characters die, unfortunately.The park is supposed to be a potential theme park for rich children to spend their vactions at, and for Hammond to make billions from. The place is a cloudy, misty, and mysterious island near Costa Rica. The jungle is wild and has never had human inhabitants on it before, let alone dinosaurs. |
